Time that is genuinely yours
Standard consultations run half an hour. If a visit needs longer, we book the longer slot rather than asking you to return for the rest of the conversation.
Neighbourhood practice
Nola Verge is a small general practice built around long consultations, one named clinician per patient and notes written in language you can actually use.
How we practise
Small commitments, but they shape the whole visit — and they are the reason most people register with us.
Standard consultations run half an hour. If a visit needs longer, we book the longer slot rather than asking you to return for the rest of the conversation.
You are registered with a named clinician and see them wherever the diary allows, so your history does not have to be re-told from the beginning each time.
After each visit you receive a short written summary: what we found, what we agreed, and what should prompt you to come back sooner.
Services
General practice for adults and children, with a few areas we go deeper on. If something needs a specialist, we make the referral and stay involved.
New symptoms, second opinions, ongoing worries and everything that does not fit neatly in a category.
Contraception reviews, cycle and menopause care, cervical screening and pre-conception conversations.
Childhood illness, feeding and sleep questions, development checks and the calm reassurance that often matters most.
Structured reviews for blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and thyroid care, with a written plan you keep.
Destination-based advice, routine immunisation catch-up and seasonal vaccines for the whole household.
Skin lesion checks and removals, wound care, joint injections and ear irrigation in our treatment room.
Your visit
No portals to set up and no phone queue to sit in. Three steps, and a person at the end of each of them.
Tell us the type of care you need and the times that suit you. A coordinator reads every request the same working day.
You get a written confirmation with the clinician's name, the length of the appointment and anything worth bringing along.
Unhurried time in the room, then a plain-language summary of what was agreed — including what to do if things change.
Care team
A deliberately small team. You are registered with one of them, and they stay with you through referrals and results.
General practice
Founded the practice around longer appointments. Particular interest in long-term conditions and medication reviews.
Family medicine
Sees children and adults in the same household. Runs our travel and immunisation clinic on weekday mornings.
Nurse practitioner
Leads the treatment room: wound care, minor procedures, screening appointments and chronic condition reviews.
Questions
If your question is not here, put it in the request form and a coordinator will reply in writing.
No. Send a request as a new patient and we will complete registration together at your first appointment — it takes a few minutes and you only do it once.
Registered patients request repeats through the same form, choosing "Prescription review". We ask for a short review appointment roughly twice a year so nothing continues unchecked.
Yes. With your written consent we request your notes from your previous practice, and your clinician reads them before your first consultation rather than during it.
Reply to your confirmation and we will move it. Letting us know a day ahead means the slot can go to someone waiting, which is genuinely helpful.
All consulting rooms are step-free and on one level, with a height-adjustable examination couch, a quiet waiting area and room for a companion or interpreter.
Request a visit
One short form. A coordinator reads it the same working day and replies with a confirmed slot or a question.
